Exemplary PracticesThis document presents exemplary practices of AAIEP programs. An exemplary practice is defined as a proven process, applicable beyond any single IEP, which helps IEPs meet and maintain standards. The practices listed in this document are not necessarily applicable to all programs, however, because of the great diversity of AAIEP programs. While the practices can serve as models, each individual program needs to adapt the models to fit its needs and context. Eventually, we would like to have several exemplary practices listed for each AAIEP standard. To submit one or more of your program's practices for possible inclusion on this page or for more information, send an email to franklin.bacheller@usu.edu.
