GAELA 2011 Reports - Now availableNews from GAELA - Fall 2011 Each year AAIEP meets with colleagues from around the world through the Global Alliance of Education and Language Associations (GAELA) bringing together associations such as English Australia, Languages Canada, and English UK. At this year's gathering we shared information about trends and issues impacting our industry; from student mobility, the global economy, and the political and educational environments from our respective regions. As GAELA continues to grow and enrollments increase, the association looks to expand its mission and support of the industry by working together on issues related to Global Statistics on Student Mobility, Accreditation, Agent Engagement, and Global Position Papers on Immigration and Visa Processing. AAIEP, along with colleagues from ACCET and CEA, will continue to work with our colleagues through GAELA, advancing and advocating for IEPs.
