Texas Intensive English ProgramDescriptionEnglish for Academic Purposes, Business and Careers, Communication & Culture, and Special Purposes; experienced, professionally-trained teachers with master's and Ph.D. degrees; year-round classes; session length ranges from 3 weeks to 16 weeks; 4 programs (Academic, University Express, Business, Communication & Culture) in 6 levels; 20 classroom hours per week plus computer and language laboratories; elective classes including TOEFL and TOEIC preparation, Pronunciation, and Conversation Skills; housing assistance; TIEP is a program of the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC): An Association of 32 Texas Public Universities for International Education. TIEP is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and is a member in good standing of UCIEP - University and College Intensive English Programs.
