Description

ELI offers eight levels of intensive English emphasizing communication and academic skills. Courses are designed to help students enter American universities. Students completing ELI's Bridge Course can enter the Univ. of Utah conditionally without TOEFL. Classes are held on Univ. of Utah campus and students have access to facilities and public transportation. Students can work on campus.

Location

The University of Utah, home to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, is located in the state's capital city with a population of half a million. Salt Lake is a clean, safe city - a great place in which to live and study. It is situated at the "Crossroads of the West" within one day's drive to many amazing national parks and wilderness areas. A wide variety of recreational and cultural activities, from live theater, concerts, and a major film festival to winter skiing and summer hiking, are available close by.
