LocationLocated 25 minutes from San Francisco, Berkeley is a colorful and friendly city overlooking San Francisco Bay and the hills of Grizzly Peak. Berkeley is a university town, and the home of the world-famous University of California. Some of the many attractions include wonderful restaurants, renowned cultural attractions, performing arts, theater and numerous parks. Sporting activities include tennis, sailing, wind-surfing, hiking, swimming, etc.
Teaching QualificationsAll LSI teachers hold as a minimum, a Bachelor's degree; we prefer advanced degrees, ESL certification, fluency in other languages and most importantly, several years of ESL classroom experience abroad.

Lastly LSI offers two work experience options.

FacilitiesLSI Berkeley is located in the heart of downtown Berkeley, close to major transportation and to the campus of the University of California. In addition to the classrooms, the building contains, 2 student computer rooms with free internet access, several lounge areas and a kitchen. There is disabled access to the ground floor.

Application InformationStudents must send an application, a $100 application fee and fees for at least the first month of course and accommodation; F-1 students must also provide home address and financial certification before an I 20 may be sent . All fees are due on or before the start of course. Transfer students must submit a status report from their old school, financial certification and a copy of the I 20 form. |
