English Language InstituteDescriptionInternational Programs offers Intensive English as a Second Language classes to non-native speakers of English preparing to enter college or university. It provides instruction in written and spoken English, training in the skills necessary for university study, college placement counseling, and TOEFL test preparation. Upon acceptance to full-time study in the Intensive English Language Institute (ELI) at Bellevue College, an I-20 will be issued. Bellevue College guarantees admittance into its credit programs for successful ELI students upon completion of all necessary application requirements and scoring 500+ on the TOEFL or with ELI recommendation upon successful Level 5 completion and no TOEFL score.
