English Language InstituteDescriptionThe Institute offers Intensive English and Cultural Orientation programs for international students, visitors, and professional and business people. During three 14-week semesters and three 9-week terms, students, from beginner to advanced levels, take 20 hours of instruction per week. Special workshops, field trips, and visits to the unique cultural institutions of New York City, provide an orientation to American culture.
LocationThe College's attractive new campus is set on 204 acres of park-like land in Staten Island. A quiet, mostly residential borough of New York City, Staten Island is only 20 minutes by ferry from Manhattan.
Teaching QualificationsInstructors are required to have a Masters Degree in English/TESOL and should have extensive TESOL teaching experience/certification.
