English Language CenterDescriptionThe intensive English program, established in 1975, offers 5 levels of instruction to prepare students to do graduate and undergraduate study in an English speaking university. Four 10-week sessions matching the University of Denver's quarter system are offered each year. The curriculum integrates the teaching of grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing and culture. Students who complete the ELC may enter undergraduate studies at the university without a TOEFL score. Students must still apply to the University and meet all other admissions requirements.
LocationThe University of Denver, the oldest and largest private university in the Rocky Mountain region is located in a residential part of Denver, Colorado's capital and largest city (population 2.3 million). Denver is one hour from the breathtaking Rocky Mountains.
Teaching QualificationsAll ELC instructors (Lecturers) have an MA or Phd in TESL or related field, 6-30 years of teaching experience and have lived abroad.

FacilitiesThe English Language Center has its own facility with classrooms, teachers' offices, student lounge with computers, student prayer room and administrative offices. The Center has been recently renovated and classes have expanded into a second building on campus. The English Language Center also has a brand-new computer lab for class use.

Fees above for tuition, health, books and lab would be $4563 for each 10 week session. The application fee is a one-time fee and includes Express mailing of I-20.
