Downtown English and Business English Programs

Description

The Downtown Intensive English Program is a small non-academic program designed to take advantage of its location in the center of the city. Language study and group projects are centered on trips around Seattle. This program is ideal for students who want to improve their practical English skills for their work or studies. The Intensive Business English Program (IBEP) for advanced level students is also available in the Downtown English Language Program.

Location

Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. It has a mild climate year-round and is just a short drive from Vancouver, Canada. Seattle residents can enjoy hiking, skiing, professional sports, symphony, opera, film, art galleries, and music festivals.

Other Programs:The Intensive Business English Program (IBEP) is a 10-week business English Certificate Program for students who want to improve their ability to communicate in English in a business setting.

The Business English Internship Class (BEIC) is offered over a two-quarter period. Quarter 1 consists of a weekly three-hour seminar course that students take in addition to IBEP or BUSIP.
