EC BostonDescriptionEC Boston, formally known as the Olin Center for International Study, is located on Boylston Street in the heart of Back Bay section of Boston. EC Boston offers nine levels of Intensive English (ESL), and Academic Preparation, in 4-week sessions beginning every two weeks. In addition, the center offers exam preparation for TOEFL, GMAT and GRE, Teacher Training Certificate program, Executive English, Corporate ESL, Summer Junior & Kids programs, and university access programs with conditional admission or concurrent enrollment to Bay State College, Berklee College of music, Bunker Hill Community College, Boston Architectural College, Cambridge College, Johnson & Wales University, Nichols College, School of Museum of Fine Arts, and University of Massachusetts-Boston.
LocationEC Boston is located at 729 Boylston Street in the Back Bay section of Boston, Boston's safest and most beautiful neighborhood. Back Bay is home to many elegant shops and restaurants and just minutes from over thirty colleges and universities, including Boston University, Harvard, and MIT.

Students have an option of Shared rooms or Private rooms. The Cost for homestay is $225 per week for a shared room, and $255 per week for a private room. Student ServicesEC Boston offers an extensive array of student services including outings during the week and weekend trips to such places as Cape Cod, New York City and Montreal, airport pickup, health club membership, parties and other events. Educational Service OpportunitiesFree university counseling and placement are offered daily to students at EC Boston. In addition, EC assists students with filling out applications and with essay writing assignments. Throughout the year, EC invites admissions officers and other speakers to the Center to talk with interested students. Computer laboratory with free internet access and university resource library are available for student from 9am to 6pm . TransportationEC Boston is located approximately two minutes away from Copley Station were you can access bus and subway lines. Application InformationPlease send application forms with a $150 application fee, $150 course deposit (applied to first session's tuition), $65 express mail fee and a letter of financial support. If you would like EC Boston to arrange housing for you, please also return the housing application with a $80 housing placement fee. |
