English Language Program

Description

The English Language Program at Saginaw Valley State University offers academic intensive English-as-a-Second Language courses to international degree and non-degree students.

Location

SVSU is located in the Tri-City area of Saginaw, Bay City and Midland in Central Michigan. We enjoy four seasons and a broad range of recreational activities in all seasons.

Teaching Qualifications

All instructors have Master's degrees in ESL, TESOL, Linguistics or related fields and significant teaching experience in the US and overseas.

Housing pre-payment of $200 required with housing application. Housing contracts are for one academic year: Fall and Winter semester. Homestays and off-campus apartments are available; students may inquire at the Office of International programs, but the office does not support homestay placement.
