EC New YorkDescriptionEC New York, formally known as the Cambridge Schools, is located on Broadway in Times Square, the heartbeat of New York City. EC New York offers seven levels of Intensive English (ESL), and Academic Preparation, in 4-week sessions beginning every Monday. In addition, the school offers exam preparation for TOEFL iBT and Cambridge Exams, including the FCE, CAE & CPE exams. We offer English courses for business professionals as well as academic preparation. LocationEC New York is located on Broadway at 41st Street in Times Square, the heartbeat of New York City. All of the major subway lines in Manhattan stop in Times Square. We are located less than 10 minutes walk from Penn Station, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and Grand Central Station.

All of our teachers have excellent academic qualifications and have an average of over 15 years ESL teaching experience. AccommodationsEC New York can arrange both residence accommodation and homestays in Manhattan, as well as in Queens and Brooklyn. Students can choose between single or twin rooms. Superior residences have in-suite baths, other residences have shared baths. Student ServicesEC New York offers a complete after school activity program, with one to two activities per week lead by a staff member. We have computers for students and free WiFi. Airport transfers are available upon request. A student library is available, and our staff is always available to answer questions and assist students. Educational Service OpportunitiesFree university counseling and placement are offered daily to students at EC New York. In addition, EC assists students with filling out college applications and with essay writing assignments. Throughout the year, EC invites admissions officers and other speakers to the Center to talk with interested students.
